ABOUT TOO MUCH IRON

11 Million Americans or more have the genes that can result in too much iron.

ABOUT TOO LITTLE IRON

Iron deficiency with and without anemia are a key focus areas for Iron Disorders Institute.

Our sponsors help us carry out our mission and our vision.

Mission: Iron Disorders Institute (IDI) exists so that people with iron disorders receive timely, accurate, complete diagnosis, have awareness of appropriate therapeutic choices, and be equipped to live in good health. Vision: That no one should suffer or die prematurely because of an iron disorder.

They are selected for their ability to help our clients who are individuals with an iron disorder, especially hemochromatosis/iron overload, iron deficiency with or without anemia, African siderosis, Dysmetabolic Iron Overload Syndrome, and Anemia of Inflammatory Response.

Sponsors submit written requests to the Iron Disorders Institute (IDI) Chairman of the Board of Directors. Their products or offerings are discussed by members of the board of directors as eligible in accordance with IDI policy and procedures. Usefulness to our clients is evaluated on an annual basis and sponsorship continued as agreed.

Ironology

At ironology, we have all personally struggled with Iron-Out-of-Balance®. In addition to our founding members having battled their own life-threatening iron disorders, we’ve experienced the worry of how to help family members and friends who’ve been diagnosed. As Certified Iron Educators recognized by the Iron Disorders Institute, we’ve also guided thousands of individuals as they’ve learned to overcome and manage Iron Deficiency Anemia and Hemochromatosis/Iron Overload. We’ve long had the goal of being able to offer real solutions for the real problems caused by iron
